THE LEGEND OF "THE SHOE" THE ORIGIN OF THE SEA
This legend is born in Capilla del Monte, province of Córdoba, in this rocky place where this strange shoe-shaped formation.
hundreds of years ago, aboriginal area residents, gathered in this place. Legend has it that every thirteen moons (one year of our calendar) in the area and away from "The Shoe", met the chiefs, shamans, healers and warrior chiefs of all tribes to ponder and deliberate.
While sorcerers and wisdom called for under the shoe, the chiefs gathered around a table, which nature had placed five hundred meters of natural architectural jewel. On one of the natural walls Dolores River Canyon, a place chosen for the Dam construction completed El Cajon, more precisely on the ravine on the west side, there is a stone that takes the form of a three-legged table. This would be the deliberative table meeting of chiefs of the tribes Comechingones every thirteen moons.
sorcerers, magicians and healers called also gathered at the foot of the shoe, wisdom and vision to continue leading their tribes.

60th Birthday Speech Brother
anywhere in the world, the sea awakens in people the most diverse sensations. Imagine this same scene
13,000 years ago when Aboriginal Tehuelches arrived in Patagonia and watched the sea, called today, the Argentine Sea. CreAcción trying to explain the sea, there was this legend.
In the beginning of time nothing existed, only a very powerful and eternal Being which they called Kooch. This feeling the loneliness surrounding him began to mourn inconsolably.
cried for a long time and with her tears gave rise to the primeval sea, which they called Arrok.
Tehuelche culture is rich in legends and traditions. This group amazed the settlers for their large size and height, expressed through engravings and paintings on rocks. These statements can still be seen in many places in Patagonia.
